There I go, standing in the middle of the road again.

Panorama of Listerhills Lane, Bradford. Winter 1982-83. Negs scanned and trimmed.

Well, did it stitch? Sort of...

It is a few degrees short of a full circle and had to be stitched and blended in two batches using Photoshop's Photomerge plug-in.

Archaeology

Off Listerhills Road, Bradford, West Yorkshire: 1 of 48. Click for location.
It is raining cats and dogs today. Stark choice - get wet or scan those old negs for a nostalgic panorama. Can't believe I had the presence of mind (in 1982-3) to take a photo of the camera too - a venerable K1000 from the camera pool.  Nor can I believe how utterly crap I was at processing negs (from which this is a direct scan).

Question is... "Will it stitch?" You'll have to check back to find out.

Red tin

Middle Barn at Little Stoke, surrounded by fields of wheat and poppies

This is my favourite panorama so far. Definitely worth the bone-shaking bike ride to get there!

Panoramic prints of this image are for sale here.

Didcot power station

Panorama of Didcot power station supplied by Panoramic Earth

A landmark loved and loathed in equal measure. The site is surrounded by trees and security fences, so it was hard to get close enough to show the cooling towers in their full majesty.

Moulsford railway bridge

I made this on Wednesday. The wind was blowing the clouds about something rotten, the light was in and out all the time. So, I retreated under the bridge where surely there were too many perspective lines to stitch a decent panorama from. Turns out not. Top tip for non-fisheye users: photograph slightly above the level of any railings in the foreground, otherwise you'll have a heck of a job stitching them up in the edit.
